Weight: 30 Tea bags (~4g/bag)
Flavour Profile: Sugar Cane, Nutty, Light Smokeyness
Made from carefully selected Qing Xin oolong leaves, a classic Taiwanese tea cultivar valued for its rich fragrance and depth of flavor. After processing, the tea undergoes a traditional longan wood charcoal roasting, slowly finished over several rounds of roasting that can span several years. This patient process allows the tea to mature and develop a deeper, more layered character.
The leaves take on a dark brown appearance as the roasting progresses, and when brewed they produce a clear liquor ranging from light to deep brown. The aroma is warm and complex, led by charcoal-roasted notes accompanied by hints of ripe fruit and gentle caramel sweetness.
In the cup the tea is smooth, mellow, and naturally sweet, with a rich body that reflects the careful roasting process. The flavor lingers pleasantly on the palate, leaving a warm, lingering finish that makes this style of roasted oolong especially comforting.
This tea is packaged in convenient tea bags, making it easy to enjoy a high quality traditional tea without a lengthy brewing process.
