Flavour Profile: Honey, Goji Berry, Woody, Almond
This tea comes from the Shanlinxi tea region of Nantou, Taiwan, grown in the Yangwan tea area at elevations of around 1400–1600 meters. Shanlinxi is known for producing fragrant mountain teas with a smooth texture and layered aroma.
After processing, the leaves are carefully roasted by an experienced tea master, following a traditional roasting approach that brings the tea to a “half-matured” roast. This level of roasting deepens the character of the tea while still preserving the natural fragrance of the mountain-grown leaves.
When brewed, the tea produces a bright golden liquor with a warm, mellow aroma. The flavor carries notes of honeyed fruit and gently roasted sweetness, balanced by the smooth body typical of Shanlinxi oolong. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a soft sweetness on the palate.
This style of roasted oolong is especially appreciated by experienced tea drinkers for its balance between fresh mountain fragrance and deeper roasted character.
